Closing a chapter. Opening the next one.
For more than two decades, MZF4 Medical has grown inside the central MZF4 Group site: a place that has been part of our family and industrial history since 1984.
This is where our Medical business took shape, where capabilities were built step by step, where our teams learned, developed and scaled, and where our most recent chapter culminated in The Atelier: a dedicated environment for increasingly sophisticated sutures and implantable textile solutions.
That is why this video is more than a view of our current facility. It records a moment in time.
After 22 years, we have made the decision to move MZF4 Medical into a fully segregated, dedicated medical-device site. Designed around the specific needs of our business and around one simple objective: to give MZF4 Medical the space and infrastructure to grow without operational constraints from other business units.
Our new approximately 43,000 sq ft facility will bring manufacturing, clean-room operations, assembly, logistics, quality and administration into a purpose-designed environment, while creating significant room for future expansion.
The transition will take place progressively over approximately six months. Production continuity, quality systems and regulatory compliance will remain at the center of every step as operations are transferred and validated.
Over the coming months, we will share this journey through a series of posts (from an empty building, through construction and installation, to validation and the start of operations). A slow time-lapse of the next chapter taking shape.
Progress also means knowing when it is time to leave a place that has served us well.
So, before looking forward, we want to recognize everyone who helped build this story. Beginning with those who started the industrial journey at this site in 1984, and all the people who, over the decades, transformed experience into capability, capability into growth, and growth into what MZF4 Medical is today.
We are not leaving our history behind. We are taking it with us!
Next: the new MZF4 Medical site… before the transformation begins.
