From that milestone, a comprehensive spectrum of non-absorbable sutures was meticulously crafted to cater to a global clientele. Presently, under Mazzaferro Medical trademark, a MZF4 business unit, the company successfully distributes a staggering 400 million meters of sutures annually (polyamide, polypropylene, polyester, silk, UHMWPE), across more than 30 countries. The latter part of 2019 witnessed a significant investment on our part, propelling us to the status of a global supplier of high-strength sutures and intricately customized, advanced implantable textile medical devices for the burgeoning field of Sports Medicine. Our credentials include ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 56002 certifications, with all sutures undergoing meticulous biocompatibility testing, highly adhering to ISO 10993 standards. Concurrently, we are working hard towards the submission of the FDA Master File for our Sports Medicine product range, slated for completion by the close of Q2, 2022.
